The Importance of Parents Being a Good Listener

Have children who do not follow what you ask? Your child does not listen or ignore you when you speak? Perhaps this is caused because you are not able to establish good communication with children. Good communication skills are rarely considered is the ability to hear their parents.
Parents react more quickly to lecture, scold, or advise her before knowing the message to be conveyed by your child, you always tend to cut their conversation before thy finish

 
What are the benefits if you are willing to patiently listen to your child?
 
1. Get Respect
Children need role models who can be their example and will respect you because they feel respected as well

If you have someone who is able to hear their grievances, it will increase the sense of trust, love and compassion
 

3. Your child will easily accept your advice
Your child will be receiving your advice, when you patiently listen to them first they automatically also patiently listening to your advice

How to do that?

• When a child is talking to you, look at his eyes with love, do not forget to give a light comment like "Oh...", "It was great !", "Wow interesting !", "Is it true that?". Treatment of fun that makes the child feel cared story
• If your child's emotions or lazy to speak, let alone advance them or let them look for something to do to please themselves, after all quiet then you ask them, and listen
• Do not give advice or interrupting them before they finish speaking. Give advice when they ask for your advice on its own
• Bring a light discussion, ask their thoughts on this issue and how about the attitude they should do to resolve the problem
• Hold your child if they are finished talking and say "I Love You" or when they cry when telling lament and say "It's okay"

Everyone wants to be heard, to feel heard a man needs including your child. So from now on be patient and wise are, listen to your child that he will listen to you
